Welcome families to another wonderful week! in second grade! It's hard to believe that we are already one month into school. I would like to welcome Annie Hansen as our Art Mom for the year and Sheena Dodge as our Room Mom. We are so lucky to have you! The students took their very first reading test last Thursday and they ROCKED it! A little chocolate milk motivation sure went a long ways. ;)I am so proud of them! WooHoo!! I would like to thank the Link family for donating some items to send to California. The students had such a great time packing our package.

We will review module 1 on Monday and start on Module 2 on Tuesday. Please let me know if you would like a copy of the Module 2 letter. The letter includes information on what will be covered for the entire module.

-Wednesday: Using the Commutative Property of Addition with Count on Facts

-Thursday: Relating addition and subtraction facts

As a reminder, the second grade team will be doing standard based grading this year. You will be seeing either 1, 2, 3, or 4 on any work brought home.
