Classroom Management System

 

Whole Class: The class will earn "jewels" for positive behavior and can be removed for inapporpriate behavior. When the glass is full, the class will have a "luah party". This will be decided as a class (movie, games, mini party,etc. ) They will receive 5 jewels for every compliment from teachers or parents. They will also receive 5 jewels for earning $5 from specials. 

 

NOISE will be written on the board and one letter will be erased if the noise level is too excessive. If they geto NO, there will be no more talking until further noticed.

 

Stoplight: This will be show what noise level the students can be at. 

 

Attention Getter: Teacher says, "surfs up" and students reply, "hang ten". They will say this as they put both hands up as well. This will signify that they have stopped what they are doing and are giving their undivided attention. Teacher says, "chicka chicka what? what?" and students reply, "chicka chicka shhh shhh". 

 

Class DOJO: An online management system where students can see how well they are doing in the classroom based on points.

 

Individuals: The OWl Chart will show how the students are doing throughout the day. They will start at "ready to learn" and can either move up or down on the chart. 

 

Resort Tickets: Students earn one "resort ticket" if their clip is still on "ready to learn" and will earn one additional ticket for every positive level. Students that are not on "ready to learn" or higher will not receive a ticket for that day. 

 

20 tickets: Pick from reward coupons

40 tickts: lunch with teacher

60 tickets: Prize from the Treasure Chest or pick from 100 List rewards

 

Disciplinary Action: Instances that can be resolved in the classroom will adhere to my classroom management system stated above. Others will adhere to the district policy.
