Splashing into 2nd Grade!

Hello, hello, hello! The first week of school was a fun-filled success! It's unbelievable how fast it flew. I have enjoyed seeing the personalities of each little one shine and sparkle this week. It was such a pleasure to meet almost all of you during back-to-school night and/or the first day of school. I am looking forward to not only getting to know my little love bugs this year, but the families as well. Please don't hesitate to stop by at anytime or contact me for anything!

Tidbits

Water Bottles-Students are free to bring waterbottles to class and keep them at their desk. I will try my best to remind them to bring them home at least once a week to wash. :)

Snack-Snack will be during last recess. If you would like your child to have snack in school, please pack something extra for them. I have some extra snacks to provide, but it won't last for very long.

Parent Volunteers-I have emailed parents who offered to volunteer around the classroom. I will have a volunteer schedule posted soon online once I hear back from everyone. A million times thank you for volunteering!

Homework- The only daily homework they will have is spelling and reading. A spelling bingo sheet will be sent home on Monday and is to be turned in on Thursday. If they would like to do more than the three practices, they are more than welcome to. Please sign each box that they do so that I know they practiced, thank you.

Student Information Sheet-I am still missing a few student information sheets. If you need another copy please let me know and I am more than happy to get one for you. This is a separate sheet than the one contained in the Red Folders from the office.
